If you are a seasoned competitor who works long hours and is looking for a turnkey Monarca experience where all you have to do is arrive in Mexico City and have your compe entry, transfers, hotel, breakfasts, and private retrieve…we got your covered, Or if you are trying to shorten the learning curve surrounding the art of racing paragliders…this clinic is for you! Invest in your results by getting world-class coaching for the Monarca Open by 2 x Mexican National Champion Estefano Salgado, 3 x US National Champion Josh Cohn, and 2 x National Champion Nick Greece as we make sure your Monarca Open experience is as efficient and effective as possible. This course will make a material difference in something that matters in a competition - your results. We will work with you on practice days and before every task to ensure you have all the beta you need to perform to your potential and will do post-race track debriefs to ensure you are learning in real-time.
Included in the price are airport transfers, a private shuttle to launch, breakfast/lunch, and lodging. Land in Mexico City and we will sort the rest. Also included in the package is a place in the competition for first six pilots who sign up, private transportation every day, and world-class competition coaching.

Valle De Bravo has become a culinary hotbed in the last ten years and Estefano’s restaurant, Los Velaros, will host our crew for at least one meal. We will also be guided by a local Chef as we dine throughout our stay.
The Food
We will stay at the hotel of Estefano’s uncle in downtown Valle de Bravo… Hotel la Batucada. This lovely boutique hotel will be a perfect base for you to explore Valle de Bravo as well as relax and recharge. The hotel offers unique suites situated around a quaint and tranquil patio. Each suite has been specially decorated with the purpose of creating an ambiance of comfort, good taste, and seclusion. Single rooms are available as an upgrade.

Josh Cohn
Instructor
Josh Cohn started flying in 1989 and won his first task at a World Championship in Castejon de Sos, Spain in 1997. He has gone on to be the most prolific and successful US competitor in the history of US Paragliding Racing. He’s been on 10 US National teams and is a regular to podium nationally and internationally. Cohn is a 3 X Monarca Champion and has been on the podium four other times! He is the current Nevada State Record Holder with a 363 km flight and will represent the US again in France at the 2023 Paragliding World Championships!
Estefano Salgado
Instructor
Born in Valle de Bravo Mexico, he started his flying carrier in 2003 after waiting several years for his mom to let him fly. At 18 he moved to Europe for two years to apprentice with various types of great chefs. At 25 he moved to the US to attend the Culinary Institute of America. At 30 he took over as head chef at his family restaurant in Valle De Bravo where he serves an international fusion cuisine based on the freshest available local ingredients.
For the last 15 years, Estefano has been part of the Mexican national team. He was the Mexican national champion in 2019, and 2020, and second in 2021. He will be competing in the 2022 Paragliding World Cup tour.
Nick Greece
Instructor
Nick has been competing for 18 years and is a two x US National Champion, three x US Team Pilot, PWC America’s Champion and Vice Champion, has been on the podium 60 percent of the 25 contests he’s entered since 2010 and 76 percent of the time he has been in the top 10 in the rankings. Josh and Nick were part of a team that won the team trophy at a World Cup Superfinal in Valle de Bravo.
